Membership for volunteer organizations

As a member, you get:

• Help raising issues with the municipality

• Free courses on topics such as application writing and board work

• Support for recruitment and member care of volunteers, including through the Volunteer Café and advertising on the website.

• Share experiences and collaborate with other organizations

• Influence our projects through the right to attend, speak, submit proposals, and vote at the annual meeting, as well as the right to submit proposals to the board.

• Invitations and free tickets to events

Membership is completely free.

• The organization supports the association's purpose

• The organization has a local chapter in Bodø.

• The organizations are registered in the Volunteer Register.

The organization is encouraged to participate in Frivillig Bodø's activities and share information about them through its own channels.

Membership is regulated in sections §4, 5, and 6 of Frivillig Bodø's articles of association.

Applications for membership are anchored in the applicant's own organization through a board decision.

In accordance with the articles of association, applications are processed on an ongoing basis by the board of directors following a recommendation from the managing director.
